Valerie Feagin joined the Office of Global Education in October 2018 after working for 7 years with faculty and students in the Department of Modern and Classical Language Studies. Valerie’s role as Associate Director of Global Programs/American Academy involves closely working with our university partner in Brazil. Valerie's previous experience was as an investigator for the Ohio Civil Rights Commission and a paralegal.

Valerie holds a Master of Education in Higher Education and Student Personnel from Kent State University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She was an exchange student in Argentina and loves working with others who share her enthusiasm for international education.


Rachael Mundie

Rachael Mundie originally joined the Office of Global Education in 2015 within our Education Abroad Division. Rachael's current role as Director of International Partnerships involves working with our university partners on various types of agreements and managing relationships with recruitment agents overseas.

Rachael holds a Master of Arts in Art History and a Master of Library and Information Science.  As a student at Kent State University, she studied abroad in Italy, France, the United Kingdom, and Tunisia.  Now she enjoys helping to create partnerships that provide such international opportunities for our students, staff, and faculty.

Natasha Heinz joined the Office of Global Education in 2025 after working for three years in Career Services. She has also held various roles in communication and media in the U.S. and Brazil. Natasha’s role as an International Partnerships Coordinator involves managing relationships with recruitment agents overseas.

Natasha holds a Master of Education in Higher Education and Student Affairs and a Master of Arts in Journalism and Mass Communication from Kent State University, and a Bachelor of Science in Journalism from Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul, in Brazil.
